Ukrainian government vows to make Russian soldiers who castrated a Ukrainian in a viral video

Ukranian Government has vowed to track perpetrators and bring them to the book after a footage appeared on social media showing Ukrainian Prisoner of war being castrated by Russian Soldiers.

In the video, men in Russian camouflage outfits are pinning a man down before they use a box cutter to remove his genitals as they show them on the camera.

The location where the clip was filmed from is not clear, however the place is speculated to be the town of Sievierodonetsk, Donetsk Oblast a region that is currently under full control of Russia and its allied puppet states.

The video was removed by Twitter after being shared by Ukranian MP Ms Inna Sovsun whose account was further banned from posting.

Before being removed, Ms Sosun had captioned the video with words “Russian soldier from Chechen battalion Ahmat cut off the genitals of Ukrainian POW (prisoner of war). This is what Nazis are doing to Ukrainians.”

In her follow up tweet after she regained her account on Friday, she explained how Twitter had banned her account adding that deleting her account won’t change anything.

“Twitter banned my profile today. Because I posted a video where a Russian soldier castrates a Ukrainian POW.

“@Twitter decided it was too cruel. But this is what happens. And deleting the video won’t change that.

“People should know what #Russia is doing!”

The same prisoner of war is later captured getting tied up and shot in the head at the same location.

The Ukrainian foreign ministry condemned ‘war crimes’ committed by the Russian army asking for the International Criminal Court to investigate.

Ukraine strongly condemns the brutal war crimes committed by the servicemen of the Russian Federation against Ukrainian prisoners of war, particularly horrible cases of torture, physical abuse, inhuman treatment, willfully causing great suffering or serious injury to body or health and willful killing of Ukrainian prisoners of war,” the department said in a statement.
