China’s mass vaccination drive is fueled by two of the world’s major COVID-19 vaccines, Sinopharm and Sinovac vaccines.

Whereas the country had managed to contain the virus, recent outbreaks in Anhui and Liaoning provinces and Guangdong provinces have raised fears of a possible outbreak of another wave of Coronavirus which has forced various people to rush for vaccination.

China has also started vaccinating people who are below 18 with teenagers being eligible to receive Sinovac and Sinopharm shots.

With its 1.4 Billion populations, the percentage of the population inoculated is still behind that of United States and United Kingdom.
