Police warns on war rumours

Police has strongly warned some elements of the public, against scaring people from going to work, that they would be caught up in acts of violence
Police spokesperson, Fred Enanga says the force has intelligence that particular groups and individuals, are going around spreading scare stories, to purposely prevent people from going about their businesses. He says such threats have been magnified by the media and as a result, increased anxiety in the public.
There were rumours that opposition FDC, would use riots to free their leader Dr Kizza Besigye whose home is surrounded by police.
Enanga has thus assured all Ugandans and visitors, of safety and encouraged them to go on about their businesses.
