Rhino Fund Uganda receives a baby Rhino in Nakasongola Sanctuary

Rhino Fund Uganda has been blessed with a new calf of Rhino at Nakasongola Rhino Sanctuary on Saturday morning.

The calf is yet to be named while the name of the mother is Uhuru. The calf brings the population of Rhinos at the Nakasongola camp to 4 up by two Rhinos in the last 5 months.

Nakasongola Rhino sanctuary received a new baby in July which was named Rhoda and another one in August named Jabali and with new calf being born in December helps Uganda to realize its dream of conserving the population of wild species.

Today morning, Rhino Fund Uganda received a new rhino calf. Its mother is called Uhuru. This birth took place at Uganda’s Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongola District. It brings the rhino population at the sanctuary to 34.” Museveni posted on Facebook.

Of Recent, Uganda has placed too much effort in promoting tourism by breeding the natural fauna species and also introducing exotic wild breeds in Uganda. Uganda Wildlife recently imported two tigers from South Africa that are yet to be named.
