Lt. General Muhoozi Kainerugaba has refuted the news that were circulating at the end of June this year about how his father, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni had warned him about usage of his twitter account.
According to a Daily Monitor story, Museveni ordered his son to stop tweeting about security matters and foreign relations.
Muhoozi however says that those spreading the fabricated stories that his dad halted his tweeting activities are people who ‘scared’ of him and his ‘New Uganda’.
President Museveni never stopped me from tweeting. That is a fabrication by people who are scared of us. And by ‘Us’ I mean the young people of this country i.e. ‘New Uganda’.

After news of Muhoozi being ordered to stop using twitter for security talks came out, the ‘Tweeting General’ spent a fortnight of the social media.
Muhoozi however did not explain whether he was cautioned about tweeting on some topics, but ever since he resumed using twitter, his posts about foreign relations and military matters have been as many as trees in the desert.
In a follow up tweet, he said that he does not need the help of any one to the great things that he intends to do.
“I want to inform everybody that I, Muhoozi Kainerugaba, do NOT need anybody on this earth to make me great! I am great because I am a Christian and Jesus Christ loves me”
