Commander of Land Forces Lt General Muhoozi Kainerugaba has warned ADF that they are in the last days since they are facing the best army in the world – the UPDF.

Lt. Gen. Muhoozi used his Twitter handle to praise UPDF who have for a record not lost any battle in the last two decades.

Muhoozi insisted that no army in the whole world can defeat the Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) and therefore flushing the ADF rebels will just be a matter of time.

No military on earth can defeat UPDF! We are a people’s army and no one can defeat an army like ours! Longlive Operation Shujaa!” Lt. General Muhoozi said.

UPDF is currently on Operation Shujaa in Democratic Republic of Congo an operation that they are jointly carrying out with D.R. Congo forces to fight the Islamic State Central Africa Province terrorists known as the Allied Democratic Forces who have been terrorizing both Uganda and DR. Congo.

The operation which started in December 2021 has seen the two joint forces captures bases of ADF including the main base of ADF and in this ending week, the operation reported success when they arrested the ADF commander of Jamil Mukulu faction.

UPDF failed to rank in top 10 armies in Africa in lists released by Nile Post, Facts Africa Org and Briefly South Africa however the army has been successful in recent campaigns compared to countries like DR. Congo, Libya, Nigeria and Ethiopia who made it on the list yet they have recently been a subject to insecurities.

In a follow up tweet, Muhoozi said that UPDF is a strong army because they have the best army commander in Africa, the Commander in Chief H.E Gen. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
