Mayweather signs up Ugandan boxer

Former World Champion Floyd Mayweather delights in adding Ugandan boxer Sharif ‘The Lion’ Bogere to his Mayweather promotions.
The former Ugandan Boxing national team captain inked a deal with the promotion company on Thursday prompting Floyd to say as quoted by www.boxingscene.com.
”We are proud to add another young, hungry fighter to our Mayweather Promotions stable. Sharif Bogere is a very talented young man with an incredible backstory and I know that he is working hard to become a World Champion.”
On his part, Bogere said the move is an important one to his career and thanked Mayweather, Leonard the company CEO revealing he wants to be a future champion.
”This is such a great day for me and an important move for my career. I am very thankful to Floyd, Leonard and the whole Mayweather Promotion team. I cannot wait to get back in the ring and show everybody why I’m a future champion. I want to fight the best and I feel this will put me in a position to conquer the sport. ”
Leonard Ellerbe, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of arguably the biggest boxing promotions company in the world also says they have another future world champion in the Ugandan fighter and promised to get him the best fights on the biggest stage.
”We believe we have another future Mayweather Promotions World Champion in Sharif Bogere. Floyd and myself will work to get him the best fights on the biggest stage. It’s very exciting to be able to add a fighter of Bogere’s talent and heart to our team.”
Bogere is one of Uganda’s greatest exports in the sport and his record stands at 28 fights, 27 wins including 19 K.Os and lost just once.
