Magufuli to ban social media during working hours

John Pombe Amos Magufuli (JPAM) the president of the republic of Tanzania is about to ban the use of social media by civil servants during working hours.
According to the statement made by the minister of Transport and Communication Makama Mbarawa, he said that use of Social Media chat apps during working hours is a hinderance to the country’s development; adding that many government workers spend much of their time gossiping on social media than the time spent to provide service to the nation.
The proposal has not yet been made official and enforceable but there hopes are that it will be passed and government workers will be barred from Facebook, Twitter, Whatsapp and/or Instagram till when working hours are over something which the human rights say it is against human rights.
