Busoga Representatives for Miss Tourism Uganda Selected

Busoga region has crowned Miss Tourism Busoga who, together with two other runners up will battle other beauty queens from other regions for the Miss Tourism Uganda crown this year

Queen Ishany Siriman  Mwonda was Crowned Miss Tourism Uganda Busoga region in an event that was held at  Kagulu hill in Buyende District Busoga sub region.

Shakira Kadhanah was the runners up and Namwende Joan Florence 2nd runners up, the two joining Ishnay to represent Busoga region in Miss Tourism Uganda 2022.

“Words can’t describe how proud we are to have the opportunity to show the rich cultural heritage and untouched natural beauty of Busoga on an international platform through our very own tourism ambassador.” Organizers said in a statement.

Launched in May 2022, the Miss Tourism Uganda finale event will happen on September 23rd 2022 at Kampala Serena Hotel.

This has been a historical week for Busoga as the speaker of parliament Anita Among Office urged the Citizens to Busoga to promote tourism.

Busoga Miss Tourism organizers expressed a strong belief in their representatives to have the capacity to positively impact the image of the region and improve the livelihoods of Busoga region people and Ugandans in general people through tourism.
