The fight for democracy is still on; all Ugandans are now uniting for the common cause so that they can achieve the result. The latest to pledge is Joseph Elton Mabirizi who was the Ugandan flag bearer in the recently concluded elections as he promises to stay home on Thursday for the sake of solidarity with Dr. Kizza Besigye in the struggle for democracy.
Joseph Mabirizi continued that he will also attend the Tuesday prayers and pray for our country. This is in conjunction with the campaign by the FDC to stay home on Thursday, Boycott NRM supporters, artists and their entities plus meeting every Tuesday wearing black and heading to the party headquarters to pray.
Mabirizi however said that he will not boycott the artists who sang the Tubonga Nawe song but rather want to engage them and make them understanding that praising a corrupt and unjust leader is evil even when they had received a payment.
This no longer the Mabirizi you used to know, he is now an activist and ready to fight for democracy of his country Uganda.
