Automobiles Company Toyota Uganda has changed names to CFAO Motors Uganda in a major company rebranding.
The announcement was made by the company today where the company promised to remain committed to being the authorized distributors of brand new Suzuki Vehicles and spare parts in the country.
“We have been known as Toyota Uganda since 2005, however increasingly, we felt the name does not encompass the full breadth of mobility solutions that we offer over and above Toyota brand” Managing Director CFAO Motors Uganda, Mr. Thomas Pelletier said.
According to the company statement, the renaming is in line with the philosophy of CFAO Group as it seeks to strengthen investment in offering additional mobility services since the old name has been presenting the company as dealers in Toyota Only.
“More than a name change, this is also a milestone that brings us closer to our ambition: sustainable growth, value chain integration, partnership with strong brands and innovation, consolidating our position as the leading automotive brand” added Mr Thomas
CFAO Motors Uganda is the authorized distributors of new Suzuki Vehicles and Spare parts in Uganda, Yamaha Motorcycles, Hino trucks and Toyota Forklifts. They also exclusively offer Suzuki manufacturer’s warranty.
