Democratic Republic of Congo has suspended Rwandair from making operations in D.R Congo in a deepening diplomatic crisis between Rwanda and D.R Congo.
In a statement released by Minister of Communications in DRC Patrick Muyaya, Rwandair is herein suspended due to alleged support of M23 Movement rebel group by Rwanda’s government.
In an announcement released by Rwanda Air yesterday, the airline confirmed the suspension and announced that the routes to the Congolese cities of Goma, Lubumbashi and Kishansha will be suspended till further notice.
