President Museveni’s National Address Pushed From Friday To Saturday

The presidential press secretary Lindah Nabusayi has revealed that the President’s national address has been pushed from Friday 18th to Saturday 19th November 2021 at 8pm and will be aired on all radio and TV stations in the country.

The President is expected to address the country about the COVID 19 status and security updates in the country.

The country has already surpassed the 4.8 million target COVID 19 vaccination the President said was necessary to reopen the country.

He had however said that the economy will fully be reopened in January 2022.

The mood is however high among Ugandans as they await this address as there is hope that entertainment centers could be reopened in the upcoming festive season.

Museveni is also expected to give a detailed update about the security status of the country which has become a bit worrying in the last few days and weeks.

Two bomb explosions that claimed a number of lives and injured many others earlier this week left the country in shock.

Museveni is therefore expected to tell the country what the government has in place to counter this terrorism and pandemic at the same time.
