NIRA halts its Services at Kololo Airstrip For 3 days

The National Identification and Registration Authority (NIRA) have today suspended its services at the Kololo ceremonial grounds.

According to a public notice issued on Tuesday by NIRA, their offices will be closed from October 13 to October 15, 2021 after the grounds being booked for national events including mass vaccination of COVID-19 by the ministry of health.

According to the statement released, access to the grounds is restricted for three days and all client-related services at NIRA headquarters have been temporarily shifted to the NIRA offices in the five divisions of Kampala.

Services such as registration and issuance of cards, birth and death registration will be accessible at NIRA divisional offices in Kampala.
