Businessman Patrick Bitature has been appointed by the French company Bolloré Transport & Logistics Uganda to be the Board Chairman of its Ugandan Subsidiary.
Located in Ntinda, Kampala, Bollore’ Transport & Logistics Uganda Limited is a transportation and logistics company said to be one of the largest logistics companies in Africa.
Mr. Bitature announced the news of his appointment on Thursday 14, where he indicated his willingness to work with the company.
“I am humbled to be appointed as the new Chairman of the Board for the Ugandan subsidiary of Bolloré Transport & Logistics” said Bitature in a tweet.
Headquartered in Paris, France, the company opened its operations in Uganda in 1986. Besides the main office which is located in Ntinda, Kampala, the company also maintains offices in Entebbe, Malaba, Busia and border points Mpondwe/Kasese, Katuna, Mutukula, Nimule & Ntoroko.

Patrick Bitature is a renowned Ugandan businessman debated to be the richest indigenous Ugandan. His prolific business career is evidenced by his various positions on Board of various companies including Simba Group of Companies, UMEME Limited, Electromaxx Uganda, Private Sector Foundation Uganda and many others.
